Accounts Receivable Administrator

We are currently seeking a motivated, energetic and results oriented Accounts Receivable Administrator to join our Mississauga Head Office.

The Role

The Accounts Receivable Administrator is responsible for various accounting tasks related to the Company and its subsidiaries/related entities. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of cash application, accounts receivable and collections, while focusing on preparation of month/quarter-end accounting schedules. 

To thrive in this role, you’ll need to be performance driven, results oriented, have a strong detail orientation, and have the ability to work with minimal supervision. This is an entry level accounting role with the potential for future growth.



  • Managing customer accounts, process billing, and timely cash collection

  • Resolving any billing and payment discrepancies 

  • Posting cash on a daily basis (customer payments) and bank reconciliations (monthly)

  • Managing ‘Master Data’ in accounting system software for business partners and inventory related applications

  • Preparing and reviewing schedules related to various financial statement items

  • Assisting with pricing and margin analysis

  • Interacting with, and providing information to, external auditors

  • Distributing weekly/monthly reporting packages to senior management




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or enrolment in the CPA program


  • Public Company experience preferred; Advanced computer skills, e.g. proficient in the Microsoft suite (WORD [create and use templates], Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project), and Access database.

    Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal) required;

    Excellent communication, organization, presentation, negotiation, interpersonal and team skills.


  • Ability to work effectively both within a team and independently;

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision with an exceptional work ethic;

  • High degree of detail orientation;

  • Professional and enthusiastic with an entrepreneurial spirit;

  • Willing to take the initiative and self-starter;

  • Goal oriented to achieve targets through self-motivation, persistence and determination.
